Panner Tikka Recepie
Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor.
It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes.It is a popular dish that is widely available
in India and countries with an Indian diaspora.
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp rosted & groudcumin seed
3/4 cup fresh curd
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp green chilli
1/2 tsp carom seed (ajwain)
1 tsp fennel seeds
3/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/3 cup besan
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
12 panner cubes
1 tbsp oil (for cooking)
1 tsp chat masala
1 tbsp finely chopped coriender.
Methods
1. Combine the paneer and marinade in a bowl.
2. Toss gently and keep aside to marinate for atleast ½ hour.
3. On a satay stick ,arrange 3 pieces of paneer.
4. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more stays.
5. Heat a non- stick tava and cook the satays on a medium flame using oil till
he paneer is light brown in colour from all sides.
6. Serve immediately sprinkled with chaat masala and coriander.
