Aloo Gobi Recipe- How To Make Aloo Gobi


Introduction
Aloo Gobi is a classical North Indian Ciusine & a "dry" Indian Curry.
This is a allo & gobi cooked in spicy masala.
This can be seved with roti, rice, partha.This could be the best dry curry for Potluck.
Enjoy this yummy Aloo Gobi!

Aloo Gobi Banane Ke Liye Avashayak Samagri:

.400-500g cauliflower
.300-350g potatoes
.1.5-2 inches ginger
.1/2 tsp turmeric powder
.1 tspkashmiri powder
.1/2 tsp garam masala powder
.a few coriander leaves or dhania patta (to garnish)
.4tbsp oil or ghee
.salt as required


 Aloo Gobi Kese Banaye: (Recipe)

.First chop 1 medium sized cauliflower in medium florets. rinse the cauliflower florets very well
 in water,boil water to which some salt has been added & take it a bowl or pan.
 add those Cauliflower florets.
.Cover the bowl & blanch them for 15-20 minutes, drain the cauliflower & keep aside.
.Meanwhile slice the potatoes in wedges after 15-20  minutes,drain the cauliflower & keep aside.
.In a kadai or thick bottomed pan, heat oil or ghee.
.Lower the flame & add the aloo wedges.
.Stir the potatoes well & saute them on a low flame for 5-6 min
.Stir a couple of times when sauteing them
.Now drain the cauliflower & then add them, saute cauliflower for 3-4 min
.Add choped ginger, stir again very well, spice up the gobi and aloo with turmeic powder red chilli & salt.
.Stir again very well, so that the spice are mixed uniformly in the sabzi and coat the veggie also evenly.
.Cover the lid tightly
.In between for a couple of times, remove the lid & stir the aloo gobi well. Do not add any water.
.Once the potatoes and cauliflower have cooked , sprinkle garam masala powder and mix it with the entire sabzi.
.Serve aloo gobi with rotis or parathas and a bowl of dahi(Curd)
.Garnish aloo with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
