Cocktail Kabab Recipe
Appetising, cocktail-sized snack made from bottle gourd, potatoes and onions, with
a generous sprinkling of piquant onion masala mixture. Serve vegetable kebabs hot,
with tea or at a cocktail party, and bask in the compliments.
Ingredients for Cocktail Kabab
. Ham -4 slices
. Zucchini -1
. Brinjal - 1medium
.Onion -1
.Green capsicum-1, deseeded
. Eggs -2
. Salt and pepper to taste
. Cornflour - 4 tbsp
. Oil to deep fry
. Toothsticks - 16
For the sauce:
. Tomato sauce - 1/2 cup
. Worcestershire sauce - 1tbsp
. Mustard paste - 1 tbsp
. Tabasco sauce to taste
Method:
. Mix all the sauce ingredients and set aside for the flavours to blend.
. Cut the ham into quarters to gt 16 pieces and roll them up.
. Dice the zuchini, brinjal, onion and capsicum into 2 cm pices.
. Spear a piece of the capsicum, brinjal, ham, onion and zucchini on a toothpick.
. Prepare 16 toothpics in the same way.
. Beat the eggs along with the salt and pepper.
. Mix in the cornflour .
. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan.
. Dip the kebabs in the egg mixture and fry until they are golden brown.
. Drain and serve hot with the sauce.
